Good day everyone, I’m here to give you all the latest updates on club events as of today.
Awards ceremony is set for August 21, Sage Hall at the Desert Empire Fair Grounds. Because of the new food regulations and the high expense of on site food preparation, the board has decided not to serve a dinner but to serve dessert and drinks.
Starting time has not been set but I will have a time set next Wednesday.
All of the awards have been ordered and I think by far, this awards ceremony will blow our participants away.

Our non profit status is moving along. The board has a brand new set of by-laws that the committee is going over to make sure they are worded correctly for a horse organization. They are pretty basic so that part should go rather smoothly.
Elections for next years officers and board are still on hold but we are hoping to have the elections by the start of next years season so with that said we are reopening the nominations. Situations have changed for some of our members who were nominated so at this time, I would like for anyone who would like to run for an office to send their request to the email address at [email protected] The following positions are, President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Show Secretary and Board Members.
A general club meeting has been set for August 27 at 6:00pm DEF board room. This meeting is for any questions you have on next year and to get ahead start on club membership and hopefully the election. I will keep you informed as soon as I know more.
